The unexamined life is not worth living. Plato said it 2,500 years ago, but it’s as true today as it will be tomorrow. Thoughtfulness – being aware of this only world in which we live and trying to make it better – is the theme of every Christmas and the duty of every season.
At Ander Group, thoughtfulness has its own name: “DoGood.” We know that it was the care and attention of others that let us grow and develop to do what we love every day. So we give some of that care and attention back, contributing time and skills to projects that make a difference. Without the evangelists, who would know about Christmas?
Good communication, good design, and good technology are not luxuries. They are essential to spreading good ideas.

Red Cross Ticino – crocerossaticino.ch
“Human” means the same thing to everyone… but countries, we know, have different habits. “Swiss” means one thing to the rest of the world… but if you live in Switzerland, you know its cantons are very different. The Red Cross, one of the great Swiss ideas, extends its humanitarian mission around the world – but its six cantonal sections here in Ticino communicated separately, thus losing impact with the local audience. Ander Group pulled it all together with a single website and seven powerful brochures encapsulating the key activities of the Croce Rossa, illustrated with the heartwarming drawings of Antoine Déprez. Very clear, very simple: very human.
Masaba Coffee – masabacoffee.com
“African heart, Italian roast.” Warm, rich, spicy, invigorating: coff ee feels African. Masaba coff ee takes its name from The Ancestral Father: the extinct volcano of Mount Elgon in Uganda. The company unites the principles of fairtrade and organic farming to provide local people with an international market for some of the most delicious coff ee on the planet. Ander Group did its part by providing the webshop, so that customers can do good and treat themselves with the same click.
Greenhope – greenhope.ch
What do you miss most when illness strikes? Energy and freedom. Greenhope helps to reintroduce some of these qualities to young lives stricken by cancer, linking financial support for medical care with sponsorship of a talented young Swiss
mountain biking team. The result puts back into cancer – too often a taboo subject – what it most needs: a sense of fun. Ander Group invented for Greenhope the concept of the “recycled website:” same code, new content – providing the charity with a powerful
communications tool at no cost. We will be extending this partnership as our DoGood project for 2014 by creating a new strategy and house style.
